Singing Hands, a fair trade artisan cooperative run by design students and faculty at University of the Pacific, will be holding a sale during Homecoming Weekend. All products are hand-dyed and woven by Kam women living in the remote village of Dimen in China.
Sales from these products sustain Kam families by allowing the women to make a living from their traditional lifestyle. All products will be 30% off.
Friday, Oct. 16 10-5pm by the DeRosa University Center.
Saturday Oct. 17 11-2pm by the DeRosa University Center and 3-4:30pm at the Vereschagin Alumni House.
